This is a virtual event.

The postpartum period is a time of immense change, with the potential for mothers to be challenged by both physiological and psychological changes.

Per the Partnership for Maternal & Child Health of Northern New Jersey, which is hosting this webinar, “The birth of a child can lead to new obsessive compulsive disorder symptoms or an increase in existing symptoms. Often people have an image in their mind of someone that is constantly washing their hands, but OCD can take many forms.” This webinar “will highlight the prevalence of postpartum OCD, the forms that it can take, and what can be done to reduce OCD symptoms.” Additionally, at “the conclusion of the program, the participants will self-report knowledge gain related to supporting postpartum women with OCD and intent to change practice by including information or tools presented into professional practice.”
