This is a virtual event.
Much has been about the importance of direct care healthcare professionals, who are on the frontlines of addressing the health toll of the COVID-19 impact. However, many of those who also have routine exposure, without much attention, are environmental services workers.
The Association for the Health Care Environment will be holding a webinar, which will be using a roundtable format, to “discuss health care environmental services’ challenges and responses to COVID-19. Moderated by Patti Costello, AHE’s executive director, this forum gives you an opportunity to share challenges and obstacles, hear from peers, and discuss the various approaches and innovative solutions you are taking to combat COVID-19. As you discuss the latest successes, lessons learned and recommendations, the conversations will be summarized and shared across the broader health care community. By working together, we will improve our ability to identity effective solutions through a common understanding and approach.”
