April 25, 2020
This is a virtual event.
Per the American Association of Suicidology (AAS), the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP) and the Tragedy Assistance Program for Survivors (TAPS), April 25th’s day-long conference will provide “an introduction to new friends with whom you can connect on your journey toward hope and healing. We are confident that this experience will help you to know that you are not alone and that together we can support each other.”
The current COVID-19 pandemic has already proven to be a significant mental health stressor for many, with an increase in suicides being a possibility, especially given the atypically high volume of calls to suicide hotlines.
