April 26-April 28, 2020
This is a virtual event.
This conference is a “virtual course on translating research into novel drug targets.”
Per the Alzheimer’s Drug Discovery Foundation, “This interactive workshop is designed as an introductory course covering all aspects of drug discovery for neurodegenerative diseases, including Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s, Huntington’s disease, Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis, Frontotemporal Degeneration, and Multiple Sclerosis. Delegates are drawn from academia, industry, associations/societies, government and media. The event attracts about 150-170 attendees allowing for a higher degree of interactivity and networking.”
Additionally, the ADDF has publicized the following conference objectives:
- Train a cadre of interdisciplinary scientists in the principles of drug discovery for neurodegenerative disease.
- Provide a platform to exchange ideas, knowledge and resources about drug discovery for neurodegenerative disease.
- Stimulate pre-clinical research in the discovery and testing of novel compounds aimed at the prevention and treatment of neurodegenerative disease.
- Build public-private partnerships that will accelerate drug discovery for neurodegenerative disease.
